Day trip to Vrbnik
Almost every tourist on Krk with a car or motorbike takes a day trip to Vrbnik. The old town has many sights to offer on a mountain near the coast. The highlight for most visitors is walking through the narrowest street in the world in Vrbnik (old town), just over 40 cm wide. Not for very fat people!
In high season, you can have problems with parking near the old town of Vrbnik. The parking spaces are always full. But with a little patience, we always found a parking space after a few laps in the parking lots. These parking spaces near the center of Vrbnik cost 3 euros an hour, perhaps the most expensive on Krk. However, you can easily visit the old town and the narrow alley there in 1-2 hours.

Getting to Vrbnik
Vrbnik is accessible by air, sea and road. The nearest airport is Rijeka Airport on the island of Krk, about 25 kilometers from Vrbnik. Visitors can also arrive by ferry from the mainland or other Croatian islands. By car, the island of Krk is connected to the mainland by a bridge, making Vrbnik easily accessible from the larger cities of Croatia and Germany.
Boat tour Krk
In Punat at the harbor in the center a few kilometers from Krk town, the most popular boat tour on Krk (day tour) among tourists starts, the “5 island tour”. You can see several islands, often vultures and the famous Blue Cave. There are also stops for swimming and much more. Well done and varied. Great atmosphere. Vrbnik Old Town

Church of St. John the Baptist
