Getting to Groznjan
Groznjan is located about 20 kilometers inland from the Adriatic coast. The nearest airports are in Pula (about 90 km away) and Trieste, Italy (about 75 km away), where you can rent a car, take a bus or drive to Grožnjan. The town is well connected to the road network, making it easily accessible by car. We did not see any public transportation in the village.

Parking Groznjan
Like many old towns in Croatia, the old town of Groznjan is largely car-free. Entry into the village is only possible with a special card that can be used to open a barrier. Only locals have such a card.
Tourists must park in front of the village and continue on foot. There are many parking spaces. The distance to the village from the parking spaces is 100 to 500 meters. In high season, the parking spaces near the village are usually full and you have to walk a little further, a maximum of 10 minutes.
The local parking spaces are subject to a fee. Around 1.50 euros per hour.
