Molunat is one of the southernmost towns in Croatia and the southernmost town in this online travel guide. The village is a good 35 kilometers from Dubrovnik and just a few kilometers from the border with Montenegro. It’s right by the sea.

Molunat is a very quiet holiday resort. There are some beautiful beaches, several restaurants and lots of peace and quiet. Many locals rent out rooms and holiday apartments. There are very few real hotels. Many holiday accommodations in the beach village of Molunat are apartments.

Due to its southern location, Molunat is one of the warmest places in Croatia, which can be an advantage especially on a holiday in spring and autumn. In winter, almost everything in the village is closed, apart from the good Tommy supermarket.

Molunat owes its charm primarily to its breathtaking natural surroundings: the town is surrounded by rugged rocks and lush greenery, and the azure waters of the Adriatic ripple on its banks.
